  I went to this school from 9th to 12th grade, and I absolutely loved this place, due to the accommodations made by the faculty for myself, and others. it has it's goods and bads, but the goods (in my mind) outweigh the bads.
  
  PROS.
  
  1). extremely well trained staff, and well mannered too. they will do everything they can to speed you along your way in life, with the best resources they can get. (it's not much, by the way.)
  
  2). No homework! (i know, a bit cliche, but homework really puts a drain on your social life.) i found that I could not even hold a job with 4+ hours of homework every day, and i started to fail. when you fail, your morale plummets. some may call that depression.
  
  3). the bus picks you up at your front door! how sweet is that? most times, there is no more than 10 students per bus too! its like your own personal limousine (albeit a twinkie-like yellow diesel monster.)
  
  CONS
  
  1). there is a dress code, and a very strict one at that.
  
  2). there are "problem students" in this school, whom will attempt to belittle you. most of whom are just misguided, and are here for "acceptance into functional society training". once you get to know most of these guys, they seem OK. they will take a while, but they will become great.
  
  3). ALL of the doors are locked. with a key, and a swipe card. on my first day, I breach-kicked a wooden classroom door, (my home room) as i thought it was jammed. it was actually locked. (the teacher's face was hilarious, but the repair bill was not.)
  
  4). the classwork is mostly Sub-level crossword puzzles. in my Algebra classes, all we did were word searches, and connect-the-dots pages. it was humiliating. In the staff's defense, this is all they are given to teach us by the state, so it is not their fault. they will sometimes bring in outside work, and teach us that, on top of the other things.
  
  to sum it all up, this is a very good school. the graduates here do great things. we have had two of our students join the NFL, and many more are currently serving in the US Armed Forces.
  the campus is beautiful, and we strive to keep it clean, but sometimes it is harder than usual.

  I literally feared for my son's safety at this school. After bullies sent him to the hospital several times, we finally got help from a lawyer. His lawyer discovered that, while the teachers do not bully physically, they also bully the students. The school also lost our child and did not notify us until an hour later, after the police had already found him, miles away. If your kid is either a bully or very good at defending themselves, they may make it here. But my heart breaks for all the other kids having the same experience from this school as my son did.
